The Current Financials tab provides a snapshot of a company’s key financial metrics as of the selected date. This tab is the default view when you run an analysis in the Profit Map™, giving you an instant overview of the company’s latest financial standing and how it has evolved over time.
This section includes:
- Key financial figures, such as market cap, revenue, net income, and tangible equity.
- Growth trends for revenue and profit margins over different time periods.
- A historical chart that visualizes price movements alongside financial data over the past decade.
By examining this data, you can quickly assess the company’s financial trajectory, its current valuation, and how past performance aligns with its present standing.

1) Overview of the Financial Tables
The first section of this tab consists of three tables displaying critical financial data:
Table 1: Company Profile
This table provides general company details, including:
- Company Name – The stock being analyzed.
- Date – The selected forecast date for the analysis.
- Sector & Industry – The company’s classification, useful for comparing it to peers.
Table 2: Financial Snapshot
This table presents both total and per-share financial figures, including:
- Price – The forecasted stock price on the selected date.
- Market Cap – The total company valuation in millions.
- Revenue – The company’s total revenue and per-share revenue.
- Net Income – The company’s total profit and per-share profit.
- Tangible Equity – The company’s total and per-share tangible equity (assets minus liabilities).
Understanding this data helps investors gauge valuation levels and compare a company’s performance on a per-share basis.
Table 3: Growth Trends
This table shows revenue growth rates and profit margins over different time periods:
- Revenue Growth – Tracks how the company’s revenue has changed over the past 1, 3, and 5 years.
- Profit Margin – Shows net income as a percentage of revenue, indicating profitability trends.
A declining growth rate may signal slowing business momentum, while strong or improving profit margins indicate efficient cost management.

2) Overview of the Historical Line Chart
Below the financial tables, the 10-year historical chart visually tracks price, revenue, net income, and P/S ratio trends over time.
Key Components of the Chart:
- Gray Line (Stock Price) – Shows how the company’s stock has performed over the past decade.
- Green Line (Revenue) – Tracks revenue trends to compare price movements with fundamental growth.
- Blue Line (Net Income) – Displays profitability trends and whether earnings growth aligns with stock price performance.
- Yellow Line (P/S Ratio) – Indicates how investors have historically valued the stock relative to sales.
How to Use This Chart:
- Compare stock price trends with fundamental growth metrics to assess whether past price movements were justified.
- Identify periods where valuation multiples (P/S ratio) expanded or contracted, providing insight into market sentiment.
- Assess whether recent trends align with historical patterns or signal a deviation that could indicate an opportunity or risk.
By combining insights from both numerical financial data and historical trends, this tab provides a comprehensive foundation for understanding a company’s financial strength and valuation before diving deeper into future return projections.
